Cause of anion reduction
There are some factors why atmospheric anion is reduced. Some of them are unique to the atmospheric ion.
Following factors in particular may reduce anion.
(1)Cation and neutralization
(2)Diffusion
(3)Absorption to dust
(1)means Cation is cancelled electrically.
(2)indicates Cation diffuses and spread in the atmosphere and the number of anion in a constant value is reduced. (anion display unit is density (pc/cm3)
(3)indicate that anion mass becomes bigger and heavier. Generally, “Anion” indicates small mass (small ion), therefore, when the mass becomes big, it looses the nature of ion at that point and the anion is considered being reduced.
The cause that is said to have few negative ions
“There is few negative ion or negative ion is reduced.” There is a reason why only negative ion is reduced.

Negative ion which is naturally generated near ground surface is considered coming from the underground x-ray and cosmic ray, thunder from the sky, etc. Negative ion generated from these factors are the same amount as positive ion, however, negative ion is likely to be sent to the sky through electric field, therefore, positive ion becomes stronger as a result.
